Concept:
My monument will consist of two ten foot by ten foot polished mirrors that are exactly ten feet apart creating an illusion of infinity. An individual can walk into the space and see himself continuously reflected.

Bio:
I am Japanese writer, born in 1965 Niigata and now living in Tokyo. My family comes from a Buddhist background. Although I do not embrace traditional religious practices, I do believe in reincarnation. The mirror provides a symbolic interpretation of the rebirth of my soul.
